2. Add it to TidyStay

Upcoming checkouts become turnovers straight away.

What happens automatically

New booking

A turnover is created on the checkout date, and your default cleaner gets a text with the job.

Dates change

The turnover moves to the new checkout date, and the assigned cleaner gets a text.

Booking cancelled

The turnover comes off the schedule, and the assigned cleaner gets a text saying so.

Good to know

  • TidyStay reads your Booking.com calendar every morning. For a booking made today, tap Sync on the property's Feeds tab to pull it in straight away.
  • Booking.com's link includes dates you close as well as bookings, labelled the same way, so TidyStay schedules a clean after closed dates too. Delete any you don't need from your turnovers; the next sync won't add them back. If you've set a default cleaner, they'll have had a text about it.
  • Booking.com only offers calendar sync to properties with 20 room types or fewer, one unit per room type and no connectivity provider. If you use a channel manager, connect your PMS instead.
  • The calendar link carries booking dates, not guest counts.

Want changes the moment they happen? Connect a PMS instead: OwnerRez or Lodgify update TidyStay as bookings change.

Questions hosts ask

Does TidyStay connect to my Booking.com account?

No. It uses the calendar link Booking.com gives you under Sync calendars in the Extranet. There's no Booking.com login to share.

Will dates I close on Booking.com create cleaning jobs?

Yes. Booking.com's calendar link labels closed dates the same way as bookings, so TidyStay can't tell them apart. Delete any clean you don't need from your turnovers, and it won't come back on the next sync.

I can't find Sync calendars in my Extranet. Why?

Booking.com only offers calendar sync to properties with 20 room types or fewer, one unit per room type and no connectivity provider such as a channel manager. If you use one, connect TidyStay to your PMS instead.

How often does TidyStay check my Booking.com calendar?

Every morning. You can also tap Sync on the property's Feeds tab any time to pull in new bookings straight away.
